BAY PORT DANCE TEAM TRYOUTS
Thank you for your interest in the Bay Port High School Dance Team: a competitive team sport offered at Bay Port High School. Our team is dedicated to hard work, excellence, and upholding a long tradition of success. We are focused on setting and achieving goals and breaking through any obstacles that get in our way. We are passionate about the sport of dance, about giving amazing performances, and about working closely together to create an amazing team and dance family. We feel confident that being a part of the BPDT will provide opportunities and experiences that will enrich your high school experience and create lasting memories.
We are looking for dancers who show potential over perfection, have a coachable spirit, and have a strong desire to be the best dancer and team member possible. There is no predetermined team or class size, and all dancers are required to try out every year, including returning members.
We have achieved our success through hard work, discipline, and dedication. In order to sustain this momentum, it is important that all members have a clear understanding of the expectations and commitment required as a member of the team. This is a TEAM sport, and it is essential that all members are able to contribute equally, so we can excel together. Please read the following information thoroughly, so that you can make an informed decision about your ability to adhere to the expectations and contribute to the success of the BPDT.
Being a member of the Bay Port Dance Team takes commitment and sacrifice, but it also provides endless opportunities for a truly memorable and amazing high school experience. We look forward to continuing the program’s rich legacy during the 25-26 season. We are excited about maintaining the traditions and experiences that have shaped our team, but also opening up to new possibilities and opportunities! We hope you will join us!
